Outdoor Learning has fast become one of the most popular subjects at the school and it is not hard to see why! Assisted by a small army of various animals, our Outdoor Learning teacher Ms C.Stott lets our pupils experience the ideals of a country environment in the busy streets of Thornton Heath! Upon entering her classroom pupils are met with various small friendly animals such as rabbits and our school cat Scraggy. They are then taught how to feed and look after these animals. When its time to get dirty, pupils don wellies and gloves and go and get dirty in our own allotment where they will find rabbits as well as chickens and many other animals. Pupils will experience growing vegetables and lots of practical activities, finding no time to relax – they will benefit from the whole experience!
